Winter 2015-16: CBESS’ first data paper published and other news

Bangor University and University of Cambridge have had a very productive winter, in this season’s progress report Bangor are the focus. In the spring we will focus on Cambridge and their experiences of influencing professional stakeholders with CBESS science.

A huge congratulations to Dr Hilary Ford, Dr Martin Skov and Angus Garbutt  who have recently published an article in the Journal of Vegetation Science as part of the their work shoreline resistance to erosion. This is the first data paper to come from CBESS research. Read more here.

Lego saltmarsh_wCBESS and the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU) at the University of St Andrews joined forces for the Dundee Science Festival. We used a lego saltmarsh developed by Cai Ladd at Bangor University. Read more here.
