CBESS: 55th Estuarine and Coastal Sciences Association conference

Dr Claire Golléty presents CBESS research at the 5th Estuarine and Coastal Sciences Association conference in London.

At the beginning of September, Clare presented some of the carbon flux results carried out during the CBESS campaign at the 55th Estuarine and Coastal Sciences Association conference (ECSA 55) in London. This was excellent opportunity for Claire to reconnect with the scientific community after a year spent teaching in Mayotte. As always, CBESS received great interest. This conference was also presented an ideal opportunity to discuss data analyses with fellow scientists outside of CBESS.

Once the conference finished, Claire traveled to the University of St Andrews to reconnect with the CBESS members there. Claire met Dr Yit Arn The, Dr Tim Hill and Dr Melanie Chocholek to discuss the results from all the green house gas measurements performed during the project. It was a very fruitful meeting;  the group planned the organisation of the articles that will present these results, in parallel with project-wide analyses.
