National Oceanography Centre: research fellow position advertised

Applications are invited for the post of Research Fellow at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton.

The Research Fellow will examine the role of macrofaunal invertebrate activity and behaviour in influencing macronutrient and carbon cycling in cohesive and non-cohesive shelf sea sediments using collected samples and laboratory experiments at sea (UK shelf) and in the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Futures Facility at the University of Southampton.

This post will contribute to Work Package 2 (Biogeochemistry, macronutrient and carbon cycling in the benthic layer) within the Shelf Sea Biogeochemistry Programme funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra).
