CBESS has just found out that it was successful in it’s application for funding to NERC (National Environmental Research Council).
CBESS will deliver a field work training programme based on the field campaigns that were carried out in the winter and summer. Postgraduates will go through the process of planning and conducting a major field campaign focusing on the experiential design, logistics and safety, consideration of biodiversity stocks, biodiversity measures and metrics, process measurement and proxies for ecosystem function, and the analysis of the data for ecosystem service flows analysis at the landscape scale.
