CBESS and the three other BESS consortia met up in London for two days of sharing ideas and best practice.
On Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th March the four BESS Consortia met at the The Royal Over-Seas League to share, discuss and debate the role of nature in key ecosystem processes and how those processes are delivered at the landscape scale.
The three other consortia are:
- Fragments, functions and flows – the scaling of biodiversity and ecosystem services in urban ecosystems
- Wessex BESS – Biodiversity and the provision of multiple ecosystem services in current and future lowland multifunctional landscapes
- DURESS – Diversity in Upland Rivers for Ecosystem Service Sustainability
