Radio 4: what’s so special about salt marshes?

Andrew Bomford of Radio 4 chats with the CBESS Team to find out why a team of scientists is out on the Essex Marshes.

On Monday 21st Jan a report by Andrew Bomford was was on Radio 4’s PM.

Andrew visited Essex Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, Fingringhoe Wick to find out what information is being collected from the salt marsh and mudflats of Essex and why this is important.

“Where I see mud, they (CBESS) see a natural city of algae, snails, shrimp and worms that are feeding fish and worms.” Andrew Bomford.
